What is Network Spinal Analysis (NSA)?

Hello this is Dr. Simon Dove from the Chiropractic Wellness Center in Fort Collins, CO. Today on my video blog, I’d like to talk about what NSA is. That stands for Network Spinal Analysis, and it’s one of many chiropractic techniques. Over 100 techniques exist in chiropractic, and this is just one. I believe it to be one of the best, if not the best.

What makes NSA great is that the way we remove tension in a body is in a way that helps the nervous system learn how to do it itself. Now, what do I mean by that? I certainly don’t mean that soon you’ll be cranking your neck, popping your neck, and “doing it yourself.” On the contrary, what I mean is that we’re going to get certain parts of your brain to become more aware of how you hold tension and where you hold tension, and by doing so, then the brain will start to take over and take care or manage that tension. So that when tension comes in, you’re able to release it yourself.

It reminds me of that old adage, “You can teach a man to fish and feed them for their life, or you can give a man a fish but only feed them once.”

What’s occurring is a skill develops in the nervous system, and the person is able to identify and feel tension — physical, emotional, or mental tension — any time of tension in the body. The brain begins to identify with it and learns what to do with it. Release it, change it — whatever it needs to do.

So that’s the real benefit of Network Spinal Analysis (NSA). If you have any questions, feel free to call me at (970) 224-5006, and join me on Facebook.

Simon!

Great video blog. I especially love the quality and goal of Network Chiropractic.

Once again you inspired me. This is exactly what I need to do.
Your energy is contagious. My spine was tingling and saying, “hey, I remember that guy, how come we don’t go back and see Dr. Magic Fingers?” Then I remember…Oh, yeah he moved his office to Colorado. We miss you and your treatments.
