I have heard about the great results of Network Spinal Analysis at your Fort Collins chiropractic office, but I do not understand how it works. Can you explain it simply?

Yes. An NSA chiropractor uses very gentle, specific contacts at the area of attachment where the spine and spinal cord connect. That helps the nervous system pick up feedback and act to recognize stress and tension in the neural tissue, spine and throughout the body. Often, during a gentle adjustment — an “entrainment” — your body uses your breath and spinal motion to dissipate this tension. This revolutionary work was formerly known as Network Chiropractic, and as it grew so did its name. It is taught internationally only to chiropractors, and known as Network Spinal Analysis (NSA). What kinds of patients does your clinic attract?

My practice is filled with a wide range of people with a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional challenges. My practice is filled with moms, infants, toddlers, teens and children, pregnant women, dads, single people, grandparents and college students. I am highly selective about who I work with and have been known to turn some people away.
The people with whom I work best are those committed to improving their health and becoming well. These people are highly motivated and involved in their chiropractic wellness care. They don’t expect me to heal them singlehandedly, but rather to facilitate their own healing by “opening the doors” within them. At this Fort Collins chiropractic office, they learn that “the doctor” is within them and that only they can heal themselves.

Neck and back pain, anxiety, ibromyalgia, fatigue, frequent colds, flu, ear infections, urinary tract infections, digestive symptoms, stiffness, arm and leg pain, shoulder and knee pain, hormonal imbalances, premenstrual and menopausal symptoms, dizziness, ringing in the ears, irregular heartbeats, difficulty breathing, pain related to pregnancy and delivery, colic, skin conditions such as eczema and acne, unhealthy emotional reactions and responses, mental stress, anguish, panic attacks, depression, anger, hyperactivity and difficulty in school are just a few of the symptoms which respond very well to the gentle chiropractic technique of Network Spinal Analysis at the Chiropractic Wellness Center of Fort Collins.

I must be clear about the difference between quick-fix care and care that heals at the core of you: Your neural system. Gentle Network Spinal Analysis care, the technique at our Fort Collins chiropractic clinic, is not a quick-fix care for any of these situations. It is an incredibly effective means to remove stress and tension from your nervous system, body and mind.

Is treatment expensive at your Fort Collins chiropractic clinic?

No, it doesn’t have to be expensive. Once you decide which health and wellness care recommendations works best for your schedule, we will go over payment options with you. We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard and Visa. We offer different plans to help make chiropractic care much more affordable. The majority of people in my Fort Collins chiropractic office find that one of these options works perfectly for their situation.

Does insurance cover this type of chiropractic care?

If your insurance covers chiropractic care, it will cover gentle Network Spinal Analysis care at our Fort Collins chiropractic clinic. Please call your insurance company or agent for your specific policy details. Our office will give you all the necessary paperwork so you can file your claim and get reimbursed.

I am a very busy person. Will I need ongoing chiropractic care at your Fort Collins chiropractic office? If so, why?

Network Spinal Analysis care has four levels — degrees of depth — associated with the work. The first level of care is where we begin. At your examination, I will offer the best care options possible so you can meet your health and wellness goals. For 95 percent of the people in my Fort Collins chiropractic clinic, one of these options works.

The option you choose determines how frequent you get entrained. To change a habit, repetition is important — and we are changing how your nervous system responds to stress and tension. Once you choose the option that best meets your needs, you also can create your schedule based on what works for you. Ongoing chiropractic visits run approximately 30 to 40 minutes, with the entrainments taking half of that time.

Your health did not decline when you started feeling the symptoms or from the last injury. This process of ill health occurs long before the symptoms are experienced. Over a period of time and accumulation of unresolved stressors — such as physical traumas, emotional triggers, conflicts, mental stress or chemical exposure — tension is stored in the spine, nervous system and the rest of the body and mind. So, in order to change the habit of where we place stress and tension in our bodies, of the emotional triggers which create reaction or overreaction, and of the mental chatter that drives our life, we may choose ongoing Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care to create a change in our neurology and create new habits which are healthier for us.

For those who don’t live close to my Fort Collins chiropractic location, we can work out ways to minimize the time and cost to get to this office. We have more than 28 years of experience and have worked with people driving from as far as Cheyenne and Denver to get the work they need.

How will you decide on the best Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care for me, and what can I expect on my first visit?

On your initial visit at our Fort Collins chiropractic office, you will spend one-on-one time with me to discuss your health history, health concerns, how this has impacted your life and what you would like to receive from the chiropractic care we offer (Network Spinal Analysis). This initial visit is the first step toward understanding your health and wellness needs.

You will go through a chiropractic examination consisting of computerized posture and spine studies to show how you have compensated for your stress and tension, a computerized scan of your nervous system to show the areas of stress in your nervous system, palpation of your spine to find where you have stored the tension of your life, and specific Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic checks to determine where the stress and tension are stored in your nervous system. As a doctor certified to use this powerful form of chiropractic care in Fort Collins, I continue to review and learn the latest updates and breakthroughs as they are taught by the founder, Dr. Donald Epstein.

You and I will then determine if you are a candidate for gentle Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care. If so, we will decide which care schedule works best for you and your health and wellness goals. After your examination on your second visit, I will serve you with my best, most honest recommendations for improved health, and you can decide which is best for you. You also will experience your first gentle Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic adjustment.

There is no pressure to start care at our office.

How quickly will I get results with my chiropractor, and what can I do on my own to support myself during my chiropractic care?

In most cases, you will feel changes immediately. In some cases, the body needs to detoxify as it is healing. This may occur as symptoms such as sinus drainage, feeling tired, increased bowel movements or feeling weepy. These symptoms typically do not last very long. You’ll let me know if you experience any feelings in your body and mind with which you are uncomfortable, so I can support you through it.

Overall, how quickly you experience results varies depending on how severe your current health situation is, how you have taken care of your body and mind in the past, and how you take care of yourself from this moment on. The way you take care of yourself definitely will have an impact on your care results.

Making you and your health a priority and keeping your recommended care schedule is critical for progressing. Eating fresh, whole foods, drinking lots of filtered water, solid deep sleep, lots of motion, stretches, and exercise, keeping your negative, long standing, unresolved stress to a minimum, and being as peaceful as possible will all help you progress with your care.

You also will be coached on a significant part of your home care: Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI), or the 12 Stages of Healing. I’ll be discussing this with you in more detail during your initial visit. When practiced at home, this part of your care is the best way to amplify your gentle Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care results.

What does a Network Spinal Analysis entrainment feel like, and how can such a light touch make a difference within someone’s nervous system, body and mind?

A gentle Network Spinal Analysis entrainment feels like a gentle contact of my finger upon an area along your spine. The contacts usually elicit a feeling of deeper breath, tingling sensation, increased heat or blood flow, or overall peacefulness throughout your body and mind.

Sometimes the things that bring about the greatest changes are those that are most gentle or subtle. For example, just a few words or a smile can turn someone’s day around. A bee buzzing around you may create lots of commotion. A gentle Network Spinal Analysis entrainment gently opens you — your nervous system, your core — and allows healing to take place within you. It doesn’t hurt at all. At our Fort Collins chiropractic office, it is viewed as a very honoring process.

Network Spinal Analysis is a neural adjustment or entrainment, rather than a spinal adjustment. Under Network Spinal Analysis care, when enough stress and tension is released from the spinal cord, your spine will learn to self correct. There is no force, no popping, no clicking. Because gentle Network Spinal Analysis care addresses the spinal cord tension, it impacts our mental-emotional stress, as well as our physical stress. The new science tells us that our subconscious and unconscious mind extend beyond the brain, down into the spinal cord. This allows us to release the “triggers” from situations which have provoked, in the past, an emotional reaction within us — for example, old family wounds at reunions or holidays.

Life becomes much more peaceful and joyful under Network Spinal Analysis chiropractic care.

Is Network Spinal Analysis care at your Fort Collins chiropractic office recommended for children? If so, how do they respond?

Yes, children love their Network Spinal Analysis care, and my Fort Collins chiropractic office and staff love working with children and their families. It is so gentle and relaxing. Children generally respond very quickly to their care, and parents see the results of improved health and wellness early on. Most parents say their children seem more calm, happier and loving while under care. Others say the children’s level of immune problems such as ear infections, colds, allergies and asthma diminish significantly. Infants who exhibit such issues as colic, digestive problems, reflux, poor sleep or difficulty nursing also respond well to this chiropractic care, making early parenting much less stressful.

On a personal note, entraining my family has been a wonderful experience. We have not had to deal with any minor or major illnesses!
